Friendly’s Celebrates Grand Opening in Orlando with Fun Activities and Free Ice Cream

May 29, 2024 // Franchising.com // FLORIDA - Friendly’s Restaurants announced today the grand opening of the brand’s newest location in the theme park capital of the world, Orlando, near Disney Springs. The new restaurant opening will bring Friendly’s presence across Florida to three locations while expanding the brand’s growing national footprint to more than 100 locations spanning most of the Eastern seaboard.

Friendly’s grand opening event will feature fun activities for guests including face painting, delicious frozen treats and exclusive offers such as $2 Fribbles all day for dine-in only, with no minimum purchase. Most notably, the first 25 guests at the grand opening will receive free Friendly’s for a year (one scoop of ice cream per week), and the first 100 guests will receive a $20 coupon for their next visit. Additionally, Friendly’s will donate a percentage of its sales during the event to the Foundation of Foster Children.

The new Orlando location will provide an updated spin on the Friendly’s experience with improved style and design concepts, and delicious food and desserts. Guests can expect fresh, made-to-order dishes, homemade ice cream and more.
