Local Couple Opens A Place At Home Senior Care Franchise to Serve Essex County

“We’re thrilled to serve the community we call home and help an often overlooked group in our population,” said Tania Pagan-Rosario, co-owner of A Place At Home – Montclair. “We are committed to impacting our community positively by providing exceptional care and creating a supportive environment for both our clients and caregivers,”

Tania, alongside her husband Arturo, recently opened A Place At Home – Montclair, but it’s not their first time working in the senior care industry. Before starting this new venture, the Rosarios worked at a healthcare technology company that focused on creating a digital tool used in hospitals to discharge patients and improve their outcomes.

“I’ve worked in various industries, but I realized while working within healthcare how deeply fulfilling it is to impact patients’ lives positively,” said Arturo Rosario. “I look forward to improving our clients’ and their families’ lives by optimizing their care throughout the aging journey.”

The Rosarios and their team of compassionate caregivers offer a comprehensive range of senior-focused care services. These services, including in-home care, care coordination, senior living alternatives, and staffing solutions, provide personalized guidance throughout the aging journey. A Place At Home is committed to providing the highest level of care and ensuring that every client’s unique needs are met.

Tania and Arturo’s dedication to senior care is deeply personal. Tania was inspired by both of her grandmothers requiring caregiver help towards the end of their lives, one of which just recently passed at 100 years old. Caregivers were an essential part of both of their aging journeys. She also brings a unique perspective to managing caregivers, as her mother was a caregiver.

Arturo was also inspired by his two grandmothers, who are currently in their late nineties. This blend of personal and familial experience fuels their passion for the industry.

“We understand the challenges families face and want to be a trusted resource, helping them make informed decisions about senior care,” said Tania Pagan-Rosario. “Our mission at A Place At Home – Montclair is not just to provide care, but to be advocates for our seniors, ensuring they receive the personalized and respectful care they deserve.”

A Place At Home – Montclair will soon be certified by the VA and Medicaid so they can better serve their community.
