School of Rock Fredericksburg is Ready to Rock N’ Roll With Grand Opening

July 12, 2024 // Franchising.com // Fredericksburg, VA – School of Rock will celebrate the opening of its school in Fredericksburg, Virginia with an event taking place at 9811 Patriot Highway on Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will include raffles, karaoke, live music performances, school tours and a guitar smashing.

School of Rock Fredericksburg is owned by Curtis and Amy Hust who began their journey with School of Rock many years ago as a parent to a School of Rock student. Together they witnessed how the School of Rock program positively impacted their child by developing their musical skills and boosting their self-esteem and confidence. The change they saw in their child inspired the couples decision to share the program with the city of Fredericksburg.

“We are excited to bring the power of music education to the Fredericksburg community. At School of Rock Fredericksburg, we believe in every student's potential to find their unique voice and unleash their inner rock star,” said Curtis Hust, owner of School of Rock Fredericksburg. “Our performance-based programs teach music, build confidence and foster a lifelong passion for the arts. We look forward to inspiring the next generation of musicians in our community.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages with an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

“School of Rock parents play a tremendous role in everything that we do. Their understanding of the program and support for their students is what makes everything a success. With the Hust’s experience, and passion for helping students and sharing music, I know this school will be a special place for students to learn and grow” said Stacey Ryan, COO of School of Rock.
