CARSTAR Mississauga 401 Drives Away with Top Customer Experience Award at National CARSTAR Conference

In 2020, ownership duo Mike Cherneta and Kapi Komera embarked on a new venture together by launching the MGM Group, taking ownership over of CARSTAR Mississauga 401, CARSTAR Georgetown, CARSTAR Milton, CARSTAR Brampton, CARSTAR Downsview, and CARSTAR Woodbridge. Since then, they have significantly improved operations at all locations, but specifically improving the reputation of CARSTAR Mississauga 401.
Cherneta, co-owner of MGM Auto Group, was immersed in the automotive industry from a young age, influenced by his father, who worked as a technician. Starting his career as a detailer, Cherneta's ambition drove him to progress through various roles within the industry, ultimately leading to the establishment of his own facility. In 2013, Cherneta crossed paths with Kapi when he applied for a detailer position at CARSTAR St. Catharine’s.
Following the acquisition of CARSTAR Mississauga 401, Cherneta and Kapi initiated significant changes, including retraining the repair process, reorganizing the shop layout, and constructing dedicated training and parts rooms. These enhancements were aimed at equipping their team with optimal resources to deliver superior customer service. Furthermore, they redefined responsibilities across the team, ensuring clarity in everyone's role and holding them accountable for their performance standards.
