Xponential Fitness Announces CycleBar Member As Winner of Walk to Win™ Porsche Contest
August 13, 2024 // Franchising.com // IRVINE, Calif. - Xponential Fitness is thrilled to announce the winner of the Walk to Win™ Porsche contest in partnership with Princess Cruises. Guang Zhu, a CycleBar member, won the contest by completing a 30-day fitness streak consisting of a mix of attending CycleBar classes, walking at least 5,000 steps per day, and taking Pure Barre classes on the XPASS app, resulting in a 140-class milestone and marking a transformative journey in his health and fitness regimen.
Zhu, a senior project manager and general manager at a Bay Area construction company, began his fitness journey nearly a decade ago with a commitment to a healthier lifestyle. Discovering CycleBar and other Xponential Fitness brands through the XPASS app, Zhu found motivation and a supportive community that helped him achieve his fitness goals. The Walk to Win™ contest offered an additional layer of excitement and purpose, encouraging participants to achieve a 30-day fitness streak, whether that’s walking 5,000 steps a day or attending an in-studio class, for a chance to win a custom-branded, high-performance Porsche Taycan.
"The XPASS app has been incredibly beneficial and motivating in helping me achieve my daily fitness goals,” Zhu shared. “The Walk to Win contest played a crucial role in propelling my fitness journey forward. Over the past year, my wife and I experienced significant improvements in both our physical and mental well-being by participating in the contest."
CycleBar’s cycling workouts, combined with the community's unwavering support, helped Zhu and his wife navigate the challenges of balancing fitness with their busy lives, especially with the recent arrival of their newborn. Zhu’s dedication to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle has not only improved his physical endurance and recovery, but also served as a major stress reliever during demanding times. His next move is becoming a certified cycling instructor and joining the CycleBar and Xponential family as an instructor.
“We are gamifying fitness with our Walk to Win Porsche contest, aiming to help consumers along their health and fitness journey. We’re so thrilled our CycleBar experience has had such an impact on Guang’s journey,” said Nate Chang, Chief Marketing Officer at CycleBar. “The whole CycleBar family congratulates Guang on his remarkable achievement and looks forward to inspiring more individuals to embark on their own fitness journeys.”
