Wings Etc.’s sports simulator concept Swings™ coming to Vincennes in September

September 10, 2024 // Franchising.com // FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Wings Etc., Inc.announces plans for a new Wings Etc. Grill & Pub in Vincennes, Ind., featuring the Swings™ concept with five multi-sport simulator bays. The restaurant, under construction at 623 Kimmel Road in Vincennes, is slated to open September 10.

The Vincennes Swings restaurant is the second to launch. The first, also owned and operated by Manish Malhotra, debuted in Newburgh, Ind., in May 2022. The concept offers a new indoor venue for family entertainment in the region.

Each Swings location uses technology from Full Swing Simulators. Currently, Full Swing simulators integrate 13 highly engaging, multi-sport software products, including football, baseball, soccer, hockey and golf. The golf simulator, one of the more popular games, features 84 championship golf courses, including signature Nicklaus Design Courses. There are also two axe throwing bays at the Vincennes location.

Guests who utilize one of the three sports simulator bay are encouraged to bring their own equipment, such as golf clubs, but can also take advantage of the balls and equipment provided.

“With a great lineup of food and beverages and an array of televisions tuned to sports programming, Wings Etc. is already a popular spot for viewing sports,” says owner Manish Malhotra, a multi-unit franchisee with five Wings Etc. locations. “The Swings concept offers new opportunities to enjoy sports in the context of parties, date nights and group activities.”

The expansive space makes Swings a destination for birthday parties, office parties and other get-togethers. In addition, Malhotra said Swings and Wings Etc. are partnering with local sports teams to provide a practice area for students when weather prohibits outdoor practice.

Full Swing Simulators provides a top-notch experience, boasting ambassadors and PGA Tour Players Tiger Woods, Jon Rahm, Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, Gary Woodland, Brandt Snedeker, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele; the LPGA’s Brooke Henderson; the NBA’s Steph Curry; and the NFL’s Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.

The Vincennes Swings location allows guests to enjoy active entertainment alongside the Big Flavor favorites they know and love. Walk-ins are welcome, and booking a simulator at Swings is easy.

Wings Etc. Grill & Pub featuring the Swings™ concept is located at 623 Kimmel Road in Vincennes. The location will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

A ribbon cutting is planned for Wednesday, September 11 at 10 a.m.
