Kitchen Solvers’ Marty Ness-White Recognized with Franchise Rock Star Award

Ness-White, enlisted in the United States Air Force at 18, serving as a jet mechanic during the Gulf War. Ness-White was stationed at an Air Force base in Alaska and dedicated nearly three years to her military duties. She was released with an honorable discharge and has since been recognized as a permanently disabled veteran. Her experiences in the military, including the challenges she faced, have deeply influenced her dedication to helping fellow veterans, particularly those suffering from PTSD and other service-related issues.

Ness-White, co-owner of Kitchen Solvers of Spring Hill, TN, was nominated for the Veterans Award due to her outstanding dedication to supporting veterans though various initiatives. Ness-White has played a crucial role in Vet 2 Vet Middle TN since November 2021, becoming the outreach coordinator in May 2022. She launched initiatives like Wednesday evening meetups to engage younger veterans and expanded the organization’s reach and membership. Ness-White’s leadership in organizing community events, securing sponsorships, and personally assisting veterans with various challenges has significantly enhanced the organization’s impact.

Ness-White’s commitment to veterans exemplifies compassion, leadership, and community engagement.
