Jerry’s Abra Auto Body and Glass of Mankato Donates $3,800 to the Alzheimer’s Association
November 12, 2024 // Franchising.com // Mankato, MN – Jerry’s Abra Auto Body and Glass, owned by the Kottschade family, has been partnering with the Mankato Moondogs and the Alzheimer’s Association since 2017, donating $100 per home run. This year, Jerry’s Abra proudly gifted $3,800 to the cause.
The Mankato MoonDogs, a summer collegiate baseball team, has partnered with Jerry’s Abra Auto Body and Glass each season, with the business donating $100 to the Alzheimer’s Association for every home run the team hits. With 38 home runs this summer, Jerry’s Abra donated a total of $3,800 to the Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer’s Association is dedicated to advancing global research, promoting early detection, reducing risks, and improving care for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

In recognition of their contributions to the community this year, the Kottschade family was honored with the Community Champion Award at the Limitless 2024 conference. For over 50 years, the family has placed a strong emphasis on giving back, making community engagement a core value of their business. The Kottschade’s commitment to Mankato and the surrounding area continues to have a meaningful and lasting impact.
