Synergy Homecare Continues to Expand in the Peach State
December 04, 2024 // Franchising.com // Tempe, Ariz. – SYNERGY® HomeCare has announced its latest franchise in Northern Georgia, SYNERGY HomeCare of Dawsonville.
The company is led by Daniel Bates, who grew up in a family of healthcare professionals and then spent his post-graduate years in manufacturing, financing and insurance before returning to his familial roots.
Located at 30 Industrial Park Road in Dawsonville, the company assists residents of Ball Ground, Clermont, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Gainesville, Jasper, Marble Hill, Murrayville, Talking Rock and Tate with a wide variety of non-medical in-home care options, from companion care to personal care and respite care.
Daniel has spent the majority of his professional career working in the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan area, where he witnessed a growing local need for these services, particularly among Baby Boomers. U.S. Census statistics show that 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every day and that by 2030, there will be more than 70 million people over 65. According to the AARP, over 90% of this demographic reports wanting to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
Daniel’s time in the Greater Atlanta area has been spent across multiple professional roles. After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, he went into manufacturing for over ten years. He then briefly joined the commercial insurance industry before becoming the manager of an equipment financing company in Atlanta’s oil and gas sector.
After years of wearing many different hats, Daniel wanted to address tangible human needs and pursue a more meaningful career. His years spent growing up in a family of healthcare professionals pointed him towards the home care industry.
“I can vividly remember the stories that my family used to tell about the people they helped on a daily basis,” said Daniel. “What always stood out to me was the pride that they took from their work and how they were always energized to do more. After developing my own professional career across multiple industries, I know that I’m ready to pursue a more meaningful day-to-day job like the ones I remembered my family did when I was young.”
“The demand for care services in our community continues to grow as more and more people discover the attraction of North Georgia,” said Daniel. “My mission is to provide both new and old residents of the community with educated, compassionate care that will allow them to enjoy living where they do for as long as possible.”
