Metal Supermarkets Signs Franchise Agreement for New Store in Bridgeport

December 12, 2024 // Franchising.com // Toronto, Ontario – Metal Supermarkets announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement to bring their fast and convenient metal supply to businesses and consumers in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Ed DeStefano, who opened his first Metal Supermarkets store in Danbury, CT in 2022, has signed to open his second store and Metal Supermarkets’ second Connecticut location.

Offering over 8,000 types, shapes and grades of metal, cut to each customer’s exact specifications, Metal Supermarkets offers convenience, speed and world-class customer experience, and will be the one-stop-shop for manufacturers, machinists, maintenance and repair, tool and die shops, hospitals, hotels, universities, schools, homeowners, artists, hobbyists and more in Bridgeport.

“I originally invested in a Metal Supermarkets franchise because I enjoyed working in the metal industry and I liked the Metal Supermarkets track record, system and brand allowing me to work directly with customers,” said Ed DeStefano. “Based on my positive experience owning and operating the Danbury Metal Supermarkets, I’m looking forward to opening in Bridgeport and am excited by the potential this business offers.”
