Floor Coverings International’s Toby and Amy Tabor Named 2024 Franchisees of the Year by the IFA

February 18, 2025 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – Floor Coverings International® (FCI) announces Toby and Amy Tabor, husband-wife duo and owners of FCI Vancouver-Portland, have been named as 2024 Franchisees of the Year by the International Franchise Association (IFA). The Tabors were honored at the 65th IFA Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, for being outstanding franchise establishment owner-operators.

The Franchisee of the Year awards recognize leading franchise owners from IFA member brands whose outstanding performance and contributions help protect, enhance, and promote the franchise business model. Nominated by their parent company, individuals are selected for their service to their communities, fostering a strong and vibrant workforce, opening the doors for career growth and entrepreneurship, and supporting their fellow franchisees.

Toby and Amy Tabor have proudly owned FCI Vancouver-Portland for 20 years. Toby’s career in the home services industry began with College Pro Painters while he was a student at Washington State University, giving him early and invaluable exposure to the franchise world. When the Tabors joined the FCI franchise, they quickly became key innovators within the brand. As the franchise grew, the duo understood the importance of building a world-class business that not only creates opportunities for their employees within FCI but also supports their personal growth and success. Their goal is to cultivate an environment where every team member can forge a meaningful path for their future.
