Seniors Helping Seniors® In-Home Care Services Expands to Las Vegas, Nevada
February 28, 2025 // Franchising.com // Las Vegas, NV – Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services expands to Las Vegas, Nev. Now, local resident Liz Paulus has opened the first location in Nevada to serve the Summerlin community in Las Vegas.
Paulus, a former wealth management professional with 25 years of experience at firms like Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley, is stepping away from the corporate world to serve the aging senior community by providing compassionate, peer-to-peer in-home care. The brand prioritizes the hiring of active seniors to help their less active counterparts.
After witnessing the challenges seniors face—specifically financial elder abuse—Paulus felt compelled to transition her career to provide seniors with the resources and support needed to age in place. As the first female agency owner in the state with accredited expertise in financial and estate planning, she is uniquely positioned to elevate the quality of care while creating over 50 jobs for active seniors to support their less-active counterparts.
“I’ve seen firsthand just how important a full circle of comprehensive care influences successful aging in-place,” Paulus said. “Elder abuse, and specifically financial elder abuse, is a serious issue. I love that Seniors Helping Seniors® emphasizes a value system that I resonate with and expect my Care Team to uphold.”
The demand for in-home care for mature populations continues to grow, with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reporting that nearly 70% of retirees will require some form of long-term care.
