The Century 21 Brand Expands Into Northeast Colorado With Latest Fort Morgan Affiliation
March 12, 2025 // Franchising.com // FORT MORGAN, Colo. – Century 21 Real Estate LLC. is expanding its presence in Northeastern Colorado with the latest affiliation of Cornerstone Brokers LLC, based in Fort Morgan.
The firm is owned and operated by the husband and wife duo of Kenneth “Adam” and Mary Walter, who combine for nearly 40 years of real estate experience in Colorado’s High Plains. Adam, who oversees the firm's day-to-day business operations, joined the industry in 2008 following his graduation from the Monfort School of Business at the University of Northern Colorado. Mary, the firm’s managing broker who works with agents and clients, is a Morgan County native who obtained her real estate license in 2005, immediately following her graduation as well. Since then, the Walters have fully immersed themselves in the area’s real estate community, where they have both served as President of the Morgan County Board of Realtors: Adam served in 2015 and Mary in 2011.
Adam and Mary both lead their sales force from the front, as Adam is a certified residential specialist, and Mary also boasts an impressive background in farm and ranch deals. Together, they and their independent sales professionals are well-equipped to assist residents of Logan, Morgan, Washington, Weld and Yuma counties with their residential, commercial and investment property needs.
Now doing business as CENTURY 21 Cornerstone, Adam, Mary and their independent sales professionals will have access to the CENTURY 21® technology and marketing, lead generation, and agent learning and coaching.
“The CENTURY 21® network and marketing tools are game changers for us,” said Adam. “We’re always looking for ways to make our firm better. Our affiliated agents are already incredibly talented and offer extremely personal insights into our market’s latest trends. Now we will be able to more effectively reach new clients, and help grow our firm into new markets, new offices, and pursue more new possibilities.”
The firm prides itself on its ability to provide full-service offerings backed by the expertise of native northeastern Colorado professionals. Many of the firm’s members, including both Adam and Mary, grew up gathering hands-on experience on High Plains farms and other nearby businesses. The long-term development of their corner of Colorado is a priority that is critical to the members of CENTURY 21 Cornerstone.
“Our company was created to remind us of the foundation that our talents come from and the faith we have in that cornerstone,” said Mary. “Many of us have roots in the area and we’re always excited to welcome new folks to our home. As northeastern Colorado residents, we believe it’s our responsibility to welcome these new people through interactions based on respect, integrity, and trust. We always put the person behind the deal first, and we want our clients to know that their best interests are our best interests.”
Situated in Fort Morgan, roughly an hour and 15 minutes away from Denver, CENTURY 21 Cornerstone is a convenient drive away from the state’s largest metropolitan area, while still being located in a quieter, suburban, and rural neighborhood. The area’s local economy is largely dominated by the agricultural industry, which includes a number of major nearby food processing plants. Many Fort Morgan residents also work for the municipality itself, which owns and operates all nearby utilities. Home to numerous serene prairies, a community college, and several large industrial complexes, Fort Morgan offers ideal homes for many different lifestyles.
“Family values are the driving force behind the CENTURY 21® brand,” said Mike Miedler, president and CEO of Century 21 Real Estate LLC. “We understand how difficult it can be for mom-and-pop shops to operate on their own, but we also understand the importance of preserving the culture that many of these smaller companies are based on. We look forward to providing them with the necessary amenities to compete in the modern real estate industry, while also trusting them to handle the day-to-day operations how they know best.”
