Regionals: Northeast list, which recognizes the fastest-growing private companies in the region. This marks the second consecutive year the brand has achieved this prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the Northeast, further validating its growth, community impact, and leadership in early childhood education. Since its inception, Lightbridge Academy has been a force in the Northeast, enriching communities with a nurturing approach to child development, empowering working families, and inspiring growth through innovative education.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized for the second year in a row on the Inc. Regionals: Northeast list, a testament to our team's dedication and the lasting impact we strive to create in the communities we serve,” said Gigi Schweikert, Chief Executive Officer at Lightbridge Academy. “This esteemed inclusion fuels our commitment to providing unparalleled early educational child care, expanding our reach to serve more families, and supporting our franchisees as they bring our mission to life in communities nationwide.”
An extension of the national Inc. 5000 list, the Inc. The companies on this list show a remarkable rate of growth across all industries in the Northeast. Between 2021 and 2023, these 154 private companies had a median growth rate of 100 percent; by 2023, they’d also added 9,114 jobs and $6.7 billion to the region’s economy.
“The honorees on this year’s Inc. Regionals list are true trailblazers driving economic growth in their respective regions, industries, and beyond. This list celebrates their achievements and tells the stories of remarkable companies that are fueling growth and adding jobs in local economies throughout the country,” said Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc.
