Wings Etc.’s New Hand-Breaded Chicken Breast Sandwiches Set for May 20 Systemwide Launch

May 20, 2025 // Franchising.com // FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Wings Etc. Grill & Pub is introducing a full lineup of Hand-Breaded Chicken sandwiches in all locations May 20.

Throughout a three-month test in corporate locations, the new hand-breaded chicken breast sandwiches generated significant enthusiasm, both with guests and with teams preparing and serving them. Wings Etc. leadership sees it as a reflection of the undiminishing popularity of hand-breaded chicken.

Wings Etc.’s in-house culinary team developed the enhanced batter recipe and cooking process, and the Phase 1 rollout into 26 company-owned locations yielded such positive results that the Phase 2 rollout was accelerated to begin just prior to summer.

Each Hand-Breaded Chicken breast is deep fried to golden-crisp doneness, tossed in one of Wings Etc.’s 19 signature sauces, and served on a toasted brioche bun with pickles and other add-ons. Wings Etc.’s new Hand-Breaded Chicken sandwiches, paired with one of their popular sides, start at $12.49 on their everyday menu. On Wednesdays, guests can enjoy a daily special featuring a Hand-Breaded Chicken sandwich and fries for just $6. (Prices vary by location).
