CARSTAR Expands in Michigan with Opening of CARSTAR Village Collision Center
August 14, 2025 // Franchising.com // Charlotte, NC – CARSTAR announces the opening of CARSTAR Village Collision Center, located at 23601 Kean Street, Dearborn, MI 48124.
This marks the first CARSTAR location for Jim Seavitt, an owner with more than 40 years of industry experience. Seavitt has owned Village Ford since 1982, building a strong reputation for quality service and community support.

The new collision center employs 15 highly trained technicians, and is located on the dealership grounds, which spans 13 acres. Known for their dedication and customer first approach, the team has earned multiple manufacturer awards for service excellence. The facility services all makes and models and offers a full range of collision repair solutions. CARSTAR Village Collision Center is currently working toward I-CAR Gold Class status, in addition to pursuing multiple leading OEM certifications.
