Their selections of meats are cooked “low and slow” over hickory in a time-honored tradition: beef brisket, ham, hot links, sausage, turkey, chicken, pulled pork and, the crowd favorite, ribs. Ranch House Beans and Spicy Cream Corn are among the delicious homemade sides. Soulman’s currently owns and operates 19 North and East Texas locations in Addison, Allen, Cedar Hill, Forney, Garland, Greenville, Hurst, Lancaster, Lewisville, Mansfield, Mesquite, Quinlan, Rockwall I-30, Rockwall Goliad, Royse City, Southlake, Terrell, Van and Wylie.
They raised the bar on Bar-B-Que over 40 years ago. Soulman’s opened its doors in Pleasant Grove, a suburb of Dallas, on October 19, 1974. Using timeless BBQ techniques and old family recipes (which they still use today), Soulman’s quickly became a popular destination for local residents and a welcomed departure from “run of the mill” Bar-B-Que. They offer a large variety of mouthwatering meats including beef, chicken, ham, turkey, pork, sausage, hot links, and the customer favorite, ribs. All of their meats are cooked “low and slow” over hickory wood, just the way it’s always been done.
