New Title More Accurately Describes Editorial Focus and Content
SAN JOSE, Calif., July 22, 2008 - Franchise Update Media Group, the leading industry resource for franchise development, today announced that Area Developer Magazine has a new name: Multi-Unit Franchisee Magazine, effective with the Issue III 2008 edition, which will be published at the end of the month. The Area Developer website has also been updated to reflect the name change and is now: mufranchisee.com.

Multi-Unit franchisees are those who own and operate more than a single unit franchise, in either the same concept or franchises in different brands, while an "Area Developer" may or may not operate their own unit.
