FLDC22 Kicks Off in Atlanta in Just 2 Weeks!
The 2022 Franchise Leadership & Development Conference (FLDC) is only two weeks away! The annual event for franchisors runs from Tuesday, Oct. 18 through Thursday morning, Oct. 20 in Atlanta at the Intercontinental Buckhead.
This event is designed exclusively for franchise CEOs, presidents, and franchise sales and development executives. Since its introduction 23 years ago, the conference has seen tremendous growth, reaching more and more franchise executives seeking inspiration and guidance on how to grow their business faster and more efficiently. Over the past two decades, the FLDC has become a must-attend event for all those who value staying on top of trends, as well as those looking to generate new ones.
Here are just five ways the FLDC delivers powerful content to help you meet your 2023 growth and development goals:
1) Preview of the 2023 Annual Franchise Development Report
2) Economic report and forecast from FRANdata
3) Results of STAR Award Mystery Shop and Prospect Experience Analysis
4) Inspiring keynote and workshop with Mike Weinberg, best-selling author and expert in leading high-performance sales teams
5) Content for growth throughout, including expert general session speakers and panels, covering the most pressing issues and biggest opportunities for franchise leaders in the year ahead.
There are many additional benefits to help you make your 2023 all you wish it to be, including ample networking time with your peers and opportunities to meet with suppliers in the Exhibit Hall.
Then there’s the CEO Summit, an all-day event for franchise CEOs and presidents only. Tom (“First to the door wins”) Wood, CEO of Floor Coverings International, and Clarissa Bradstock, CEO of Any Lab Test Now, will moderate a star-studded lineup of top-level franchise executives in highly interactive sessions.
This year’s Conference Chair is Lori Merrall, director of franchise development at Sola Salon Studios and Woodhouse Day Spa.
The conference will dig into “perennial” franchise sales and development topics: lead generation, franchise marketing, franchise sales basics, resales and refranchising, candidate communication, what multi-unit operators look for in a brand, real estate, discovery day, and international expansion. And the IFA, which is co-hosting the event, will present Fran-Guard, its franchise management and compliance program in another all-day session on Tuesday.
Finally, there’s the high energy (often raucous) annual STAR Awards dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy, celebrating the country’s best of the best franchise sales teams. Winners are evaluated on their franchisee recruitment, online inquiry follow-up, telephone mystery shopping, social media performance, recruitment websites, and franchisee satisfaction.
