Franchise Consumer Marketing Conference Set for June 19-21

Franchise Consumer Marketing Conference Set for June 19-21

Get ready for the 8th Annual Franchise Consumer Marketing Conference, which draws hundreds of CMOs, marketing VPs, and other franchise marketing executives – along with dozens of leading technology and marketing providers – to Atlanta each June.

This must-attend event for franchise consumer marketing pros and suppliers kicks off Tuesday morning, June 19, with two concurrent workshops: “Developing a Brand Promise/Purpose” and “Mapping the Customer Journey.” This year’s chair is Terri Snyder, EVP Marketing and CMO at Checkers & Rally’s Restaurants.

“No other marketing conference combines powerful content, state-of-the-art vendors, and the opportunity to candidly discuss the unique challenges of leading marketing within a franchised organization,” says Snyder. “And best of all, while the FCMC is large enough to provide compelling content, it’s still small enough to allow for great hallway conversations and meaningful networking. If, like me, you are a marketing professional within a franchising system, this is one conference you won’t want to miss!”

Tuesday afternoon features keynote speaker Anders Sorman-Nilsson, an innovation strategist, futurist, and author of Thinque Funky: Upgrade Your Thinking and Digilogue: How To Win the Digital Minds and Analogue Hearts of Tomorrow’s Customer. He will speak on the connections between innovation as it relates to consumer and brand marketing.

Following a general session panel called “Build Sales Overnight & Brand Over Time,” the Exhibit Hall will open for the conference’s welcome reception. After that, first-time franchisor attendees will have an exclusive opportunity to meet with the Conference Advisory Board from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. over hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.

Wednesday kicks off with a general session called “Guarantee Delivery of Brand Promises – Employees, Franchisees, Stakeholders.” That will be followed by three concurrent sessions: “Smartphones & the Customer”; “Lead Attribution for Effective Buys”; and “Bring Your Promise to Life in Franchise Development.”

Lunch is followed by a general session panel of marketing pros discussing digital vs. traditional media. Three more concurrent sessions follow on how to build the best marketing team; the next big innovations in marketing technology and tools; and building your budget to keep up with changing consumer behavior.

Wednesday’s sessions close with keynote speaker Scott McKain, returning by popular demand after wowing attendees in previous years. One of only 24 people in the Sales and Marketing Hall of Fame (others include Dale Carnegie, Zig Ziglar, and Og Mandino), McKain will lead the closing session with a presentation followed by a “Challenge Session” involving all attendees.

Wednesday closes with a networking reception and dinner sponsored by social media marketing and management firm SOCi.

The conference concludes Thursday morning with a closing workshop called “Deliver on Your Promises Executional Plan,” which promises to wrap the previous two days of keynotes, panels, and sessions into to an actionable package attendees can take home and implement when they get back to the office.

This is the only industry conference of its kind that focuses on the most essential topics to franchise consumer marketers. Whether you are in food, retail, or service, you’re sure to find value, whether through tips from the panelists and speakers, or new connections you make with your consumer marketing peers.

Platinum Sponsors this year are Silvercrest Advertising and Visualogistix.

The conference will be held June 19–21 in Atlanta at the InterContinental Buckhead. To learn more about the conference, register, or download the app, click here.
