Georgia Operator Opens 5th Firehouse Subs Location
Chad Weaver has opened the doors on his fifth Firehouse Subs location. His newest unit gives him 3 of the brand’s restaurants in Savannah and he has two more in nearby Pooler and Richmond Hill.
Weaver has worked in the restaurant industry for more than three decades, working his way up from training manager to franchisee. He opened his first Firehouse Subs location in Savannah back in 2008. He says he was initially drawn to the brand because of its strong values of serving the community through its great food and commitment to public safety.
“I’ve been with Firehouse Subs for more than 15 years now, and I could not be prouder to be part of a company that values heartfelt customer service, outstanding food, and an emphasis on giving back to the community,” said Weaver. “Thanks to the generosity of the Savannah community, my restaurants have been able to support several lifesaving equipment donations to first responders through Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. It’s amazing to know you’re helping make a difference in your community.”
Weaver is passionate about the brand’s Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which provides lifesaving equipment, funding, and education to first responders and public safety organizations across the country. He has also actively supported with hurricane relief efforts in the Southeast, helping feed first responders and hurricane victims in need.
The Jacksonville-Florida-based brand now has more than 1,175 restaurants in 46 states, Puerto Rico, Canada.
