Kal Gullapalli Opens His 48th Marco's Pizza Location

Kal Gullapalli has opened his latest Marco’s Pizza location in the coastal town of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It marks his 48th location with the pizza brand.

"Myrtle Beach is such a lively and dynamic community and Marco's Pizza will continue to serve even more of the area," said Gullapalli. "Whether you're Myrtle Beach residents, snowbirds, or on vacation and looking for a delicious meal to enjoy with friends and family, Marco's Pizza will be there for you."

Gullapalli is one of Marco’s Pizza’s largest operators and also franchises 44 European Wax Center locations. The former Wall Street executive began franchising with Marco's Pizza in 2021 and has opened dozens of the pizza brand’s locations across the southeast, including 22 stores in South Carolina. He said Myrtle Beach should be a great location for Marco’s Pizza because the travel destination will attract both residents and tourists.He plans to continue his Marco’s Pizza development and has commitments for future stores in other Southeast markets including cities like Tampa, Florida, Columbia, South Carolina, and Georgia. It’s all part of his journey to reach 100 restaurants by 2025.
