In 1987, Shirley Syptak purchased the original Must Be Heaven restaurant in beautiful, downtown Brenham, Texas from Connie Wilder. Shirley provided an experience like no other by serving her customers delicious , mouth-watering soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as homemade pies, quiche, and fabulous old-time creations, all enjoyed in a unique, quaint, and timeless atmosphere. Must Be Heaven realized that because of today's hectic lifestyles people are dining out more frequently than ever before. But everyone still craves that warm feeling that only comes from a home cooked meal. That is exactly what Must Be Heaven is all about: quality ingredients, outstanding service, and a fresh and varied menu.
