Round Table Pizza introduces the new Pepperoni Artisan pizza, along with several "firsts" in the pizza industry.

Round Table Pizza proudly introduces the next level of flavor experience, the new Pepperoni Artisan pizza. As recognized leaders in product innovation, Round Table Pizza has once again created several new "firsts" in the pizza industry.

Round Table Pizza is proud to be the first major pizza chain (with over 500 units) to offer:

* Cornmeal dusted crust
* 100% certified organic tomato sauce
* Creamy, fresh mozzarella
* Garden fresh basil

Inspired by Artisan chefs with ties to local farmers markets, the Pepperoni Artisan is a classic handcrafted execution of select organic and high quality ingredients from respected growers. The groundbreaking new Pepperoni Artisan begins with a thin, crispy cornmeal dusted crust, a new sweet 100% certified organic tomato sauce, lean Primo pepperoni, marinated roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions, and Roma tomatoes. Next we add slices of creamy, fresh mozzarella and top it with garden fresh basil. The pizza is cut into extra large slices for maximum enjoyment. Simple in execution yet generous in flavor, the pizza experience once found only at high end restaurants can now be had at your local Round Table Pizza.

Focus groups for the Pepperoni Artisan have generated several of the highest scores Round Table Pizza has received for a new product. With its select, premium ingredients, organic sauce, and fresh basil, it is the first meat pizza that Round Table tested that appeals equally to both men & women.

The Pepperoni Artisan is now available for a limited time at participating Round Table Pizza locations. The Pepperoni Artisan launched on September 25th with an integrated marketing campaign including television, radio, and point-of-purchase materials created by Siltanen & Partners Advertising, Marina Del Rey, CA. The creative shows in a humorous way that before the creation of the Pepperoni Artisan, previous attempts to please both men and women usually pleased neither. The new spots include such playfully absurd scenarios as "Football, the musical".
