Robeks Named Official Fruit Smoothie for STAPLES Center

Millions of Fans Can Now Grab and Go Guilt-Free; Agreement Also Includes Los Angeles

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - May 21, 2008) - Robeks Corporation, a premium fruit smoothie and healthy eats national franchisor, has been named the official fruit smoothie of STAPLES Center, a world-class arena for sports and entertainment, and home of the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers (NBA), Los Angeles Kings (NHL), Los Angeles Avengers (AFL) and Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA) professional franchises. The multi-year agreement also names Robeks as the official fruit smoothie of the Los Angeles Kings.

STAPLES Center hosts more than 260 events and over 3 million fans annually. Since opening in 1999, STAPLES Center, owned and operated by AEG, worldwide leaders in the presentation of live sports and entertainment, has hosted such major events as NBA and NHL All-Star Games, the United States Figure Skating Championships, seven Grammy Awards Shows, the annual X Games and Pac 10 Basketball Championships and concerts from such stars as Prince, the Eagles, Justin Timberlake, U2, Garth Brooks and Paul McCartney. STAPLES Center's food and beverage concessions are operated by Levy Restaurants the leader in premium sports and entertainment dining concessions at a multitude of major sports and entertainment venues across the country.

The decision by AEG and Levy Restaurants fulfills, in part, a core commitment to offer "more healthy concepts" as Americans seek nutritious options in their diets, whether at home or away. Robeks and its 150 national stores are known for "healthier-for-you" premium food and beverage options. The Robeks concession will operate under contract with AEG and Levy Restaurants, and is expected to open before the end of summer.

"STAPLES Center represents the best of everything an arena and live events have to offer, from the fan amenities and entertainment to value and service and, the dining choices are no different," said Lee Zeidman, Sr. Vice President and General Manager, STAPLES Center. "As a healthy food concept, Robeks best reflects the quality of good taste, health and nutrition that we believe our guests deserve."

"While few indulgences are more Americana than tasty stadium food, Americans want to do small things in the daily lives to live healthier. Robeks smoothies are healthy, quick meal replacements, especially when you've not had time for dinner and are dashing to your seat to enjoy the game or concert. Now, STAPLES Center fans can sample the real deal in premium made-to-order smoothies," says Brian Tademy, vice president of marketing for Robeks. "The more taste buds we touch, the more we help make the world a healthier place!"
