Fitness Together Launches National Marketing Campaign

February 06, 2009 // // Highlands Ranch, Colo. –– Fitness Together Franchise Corporation has launched a national brand marketing campaign, giving the franchise network a new image and bold tools to communicate with high-end consumers who want to meet and exceed their fitness goals and live a healthier life.

"This campaign truly sets us apart from the fitness competition and speaks to what makes us different, unique and ultimately successful in helping our clients redefine themselves," said Sue Beranek, vice president of marketing and brand strategy.

Based on extensive brand research with consumers, the company identified its target audience as those who purchase luxury goods. The new marketing campaign speaks directly to them with a tone that is smart, honest and unapologetic.

"Fitness Together defines a real specialty, giving every client a one-on-one workout with a personal trainer in a private studio," said Jeff Jervik, president and CEO of parent-company Fitness Together Holdings, Inc. "This marketing initiative delivers that message in a big way and on a grand scale for an experience that has attracted thousands of loyal customers, but treats each one as the only one." Aimed at a national audience, the franchise chain with more than 490 studios unveiled the campaign that uses a sense of humor to break the ice and introduce fitness in a whole new way. Ad concepts include: "Stop Blaming It On The Dryer. Nothing gets you back into your skinny jeans faster than a personal trainer in a private studio." And, "The more you work out, the weaker his knees get. Positive reinforcement. Just one of the many benefits of personal training." All elements of the campaign are punctuated with the line "Personal Training Gets Results."

The creative designs, which use strong photos and attention-grabbing words, have already become a high-profile gateway to educating people on the benefits of a fitness partner that offers privacy, dignity and the individual attention of an experienced personal trainer that come together to deliver results. Additionally, the campaign drives home the point that Fitness Together is an entirely different experience from working out in a big box gym.

Complete with a redesigned Web site, in-store displays, print ads, outdoor boards and direct mail pieces, the new marketing campaign introduces a new edge for the Fitness Together brand along with a call to action for the general public to seek real solutions for their health and wellness hurdles.

Designed by Sukle Advertising & Design in Denver, the goal of the campaign is to captivate an audience and then deliver the greater message of the Fitness Together motto: "1 Client – 1 Trainer – 1 Goal."
