Archadeck Launches New Website As Part Of Its Brand Refresh Strategy

North America's leading deck and screened porch builder franchise re-launches www.Archadeck.com with a new look.

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) August 28, 2009 -- Archadeck, North America's premier designer and builder of custom outdoor living spaces, recently launched the new www.Archadeck.com as part of their recent brand refresh effort.

"We wanted to create a simpler, more beautiful website that was all about clearly communicating who Archadeck is, what it does and how consumers can easily get more information," said Larry Spada, Vice President of Branding and Marketing. "This website is designed to show consumers the possibilities of what we can design and build and to encourage them to pick up the phone to call us."

In addition to generating inquiries by phone, the new website features a prominently displayed form for consumers to request a free Archadeck design consultation, in the comfort of their homes. Located in the right column of every underlying Web page within the site, the form takes a few seconds to complete as it only asks for name, email address, phone number and zip code, so Archadeck design consultants can promptly respond to each inquiry.

"It's all about telling our story at the precise moment someone decides they want to hear it," Spada added. The new Archadeck website works in concert with the new Design Consultation System tools the franchise has been developing as part of its brand refresh.

"Whether you're on our website, reading a free brochure, or viewing a design proposal in your home for a new outdoor living space, everything looks like it's part of the same family. Consistency in branding and messaging is a top priority, not only here at Archadeck, but with every franchise company within Outdoor Living Brands," Spada noted.

Each Archadeck location now has its own Web page within the Archadeck.com domain. Archadeck.com now guides the Web visitor to their respective local site where the local franchise owner has the ability to customize their page. "It's great to see our franchisees take ownership of their sites," says Spada. "They can upload photos of projects they've completed, add and change text, virtually whatever they want to do."

Another significant achievement of the new site is the customizable social media options that have been built in. Local franchise locations can now activate instant links to a variety of social media sites including Wordpress for blogs; Facebook; Twitter; RSS feeds; Digg; Flickr; LinkedIn and You Tube.

"One company. One brand. One site.," was the goal of Robin Steele, Interactive Marketing Manager at Archadeck, Steele added. "As marketing evolves with innovations in technology, strong marketing at the local level is becoming increasingly important. And our new site champions and facilitates that."

"Web visitors can even tag their favorite photos by clicking on the heart shaped 'favorites' icon that appears in the top right of the multimedia player," Steele continued. "We built it for today, with an eye towards tomorrow." Below the heart-shaped bookmark, a full-screen view of photos within the media player is also available by clicking on the "toggle full-screen" option.

About the new Archadeck website:

The information architecture and social media vision for the new Archadeck website was created by Robin Steele, Interactive Marketing Manager. The user experience and graphic design team assisting Steele was Steve Nguyen and Martin Speer, in-house Graphic Designers at Archadeck. Development and hosting is provided on an ongoing basis by Kadro Solutions, under the leadership of Malcolm Allen, Kadro co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. Kadro also created the robust media player which serves as the cornerstone for the new website, which beautifully showcases photos, videos and concise keyworded content. Neil Bergman, Software Developer at Kadro, was of critical importance in this effort, as was photo research and selection, performed by the Archadeck Construction and Drafting team, led by its Director, Victor Weaver.
