Mooyah Brings Its Better Burgers And Its Latest Restaurant Design To Tyler

January 18, 2012 // Franchising.com // FRISCO, TX– Not only will Tyler get its taste of “better burgers,” but the city was also selected for the unveiling of MOOYAH’s latest evolution in restaurant design. MOOYAH Burgers, Fries and Shakes opened their newest location on January 16, 2012 in Broadway Market Center. Franchise owners and longtime business partners, Scott Isabelle and Mark Ott, are not only eager to share the restaurant with the Tyler community but also reveal MOOYAH’s recent design evolution.

“MOOYAH was on the cusp of developing the latest design and menu when we decided to open in Tyler,” says Isabelle. “Looking into the demographics of Tyler and surrounding cities, we decided the area would be perfect for the concept and the fresh design will appeal to a larger audience. The location is near several schools and we’re really excited to get involved in the community.”

The 2,155 square-foot space is located in Broadway Market Center at 4903 S. Broadway St., immediately adjacent to Broadway Square Mall.

“We chose to debut MOOYAH’s latest design in Tyler because East Texas is a completely new market for us and we wanted to provide the area with something fresh,” says MOOYAH president Alan Hixon. “The design change feels more like a neighborhood restaurant and market where you would purchase your fresh vegetables before it is crafted into your burger. It feels warm and authentic, a place where locals are embraced and every day is celebrated.”

Restaurant changes include bringing MOOYAH’s fresh ingredients to the forefront of the kitchen so guests can see the preparation of their made-to-order meals and see the freshly baked buns coming out of the oven. And, to maintain MOOYAH’s commitment to its family-friendly atmosphere, the restaurant includes a transformed kid’s area and a convenient ordering process.

In fact, MOOYAH’s popular kid experience is what made the new location possible. “My kids came home from a party begging me to come check out this new restaurant called MOOYAH where there was an area designated for them to play and draw on a doodle board,” says Isabelle. “After one visit, I knew this was the concept I was looking for and after Mark visited, he felt the same way. MOOYAH stands apart from other restaurants because they hand craft each burger, fry and shake for the taste of each individual customer.”

MOOYAH, while known for its family friendly, fast casual styling, is best known for its impeccable execution of the classic all-American meal: high quality burgers, fresh fries and hand-crafted milkshakes. MOOYAH guests get their choice of an original 100 percent lean American beef patty, Jennie-O turkey burger or a fresh black bean patty served on a freshly baked white, whole wheat bun or in an Iceburger, which is wrapped in hand-leafed lettuce.

Tyler is the first of five locations Isabelle and Ott are opening with the second in Denton, TX scheduled to happen in March.

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce MOOYAH to Tyler,” says Ott. “We’re looking forward to having MOOYAH be a big part of the community, and we can’t wait to open our doors and bring these awesome burgers, fries and shakes to town.”
