Maui Wowi Hawaiian Adds New Franchise Operator, Expanding its Presence in Minnesota

Maui Wowi Hawaiian, the coffee and smoothie franchise company welcomes an eager new addition to its growing franchise network in Minnesota.

Greenwood Village, CO (PRWEB) July 16, 2012 - An IT technician with an acting career on the side? Throw in restaurant management experience and unbending tenacity for success, and that’s Ryan Rogers in a nutshell; Maui Wowi Hawaiian’s newest franchisee in Burnsville, Minnesota.

Sometimes life has a way of taking people on a journey that requires walking down paths they never quite imagined and yet somehow, bringing them full circle to the lifestyle they were meant to live all along. For Rogers, he has arrived at his destination by following a dream that has finally come true and this is just the beginning of his adventure towards success.

Spotting Maui Wowi at a franchise expo was the turning point that led Rogers to his new piece of paradise. “Finding Maui Wowi at a franchise expo gave me a lot to compare it to; the overall appearance was refreshing. There were a lot of high pressure business suit pitches going on and then you see a guy in flip flops,” said Rogers. “I tried the product, loved the product, and liked the idea of being mobile with the flexibility to move around.”

The laidback lifestyle he once enjoyed as a young boy growing up in Southern Florida, with carefree days spent surfing the waves and inhaling freedom, has once again returned. The new Maui Wowi business will soon provide Rogers with endless opportunities to be involved in the things that interest him most. “Maui Wowi is an excellent fit for me and my family as it affords us the latitude to travel, meet interesting people, invest in our community, and most importantly, serve a superior product to a Great North Woods clientele who long for the tropics when the mercury dips,” said Rogers.

With an active Minnesota Maui Wowi franchise network already in action, Rogers has a great starting point to continue growing the brand and building his business. He has purchased a standard agreement and will begin with Maui Wowi’s most popular business model, the mobile event unit called a Ka’anapali cart. With this, he will be able to bring Maui Wowi’s all-natural, fresh fruit smoothies and premium Hawaiian grown coffees to the area. “We intend to start with one mobile unit and one catering unit to take advantage of the robust event scene and lively private parties,” said Rogers. “We intend to give back to the community wherever possible and will look for events that can help organizations with their fundraising efforts,” he said.

Rogers carries with him a well-rounded array of interests and skills. A performer at heart, Rogers has spent most of his career cast in a different role, working in the world of IT. Through this, he has gained a great deal of experience with customer service, learning to work with a variety of personalities and giving him an overview on the general public and different dispositions, he says. It created a steady career but Rogers always continued to pursue his passion for the performing arts. When he set his sights to own his own business, the flexibility of Maui Wowi opened the possibilities to create a business that incorporated his interests into viable event opportunities.

“I want to take the time to set a good foundation and grow it the right way. With more carts running, you have more opportunities financially. That is definitely an appeal and a draw,” said Rogers.

By the end of the first year, he plans to have three carts in operation, serving fresh, made-to order fruit smoothies and brewing specialty Hawaiian coffee and espresso beverages throughout Minnesota. Rogers also envisions taking his business on the road to visit the communities where his extended family resides, in order to share his Maui Wowi paradise with loved ones.

Rogers said, “I have my toes to the nose and am charging forward with my dreams. I am a gregarious and personable person. I want to sell the product, the culture and the Maui Wowi experience.”
