March 22, 2013 // Franchising.com // KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Country auctioneers and real estate experts arrived in full force at the Annual National Land Conference for the REALTORS® Land Institute in Las Vegas March 18 through 20. United Country team members were on-hand to aid the learning process in any way they could during the three-day event. Jackson led a round table session on how to properly market property using the online-only auction method. Along with Curt Marshall, auctioneer and REALTORS® with United Country – Theurer Auction/Realty, LLC, of Wellington, Kan., he also assisted incoming RLI President George Clift with the Cowboy Auction and helped raise $30,000 for RLI.
Doug Adams, international director of development for United Country Real Estate, met with dozens of interested parties requesting information about the unique advantages of affiliating with the 88-year-old rural real estate and auction services company.

The RLI has plans to approve a new course that will be added to its Land University. Jackson will teach a course on technology entitled “Building Business with Search Engines and Social Media.” This course will allow members of RLI and non-members alike to learn new marketing techniques through the fastest growing media source in the world. Brokers, agents and auctioneers will learn how to build a successful blog, implement keyword search, use linking strategies and properly utilize social media.
