About United Country Real Estate
United Country Real Estate - a division of the United Real Estate Group - is the leading, fully integrated network of conventional and auction real estate professionals. The company has been an innovator in lifestyle and country real estate marketing since 1925. United Country supports a combined network of more than 500 offices and 6,000 real estate professionals across four continents, with a unique, comprehensive marketing program that includes the highest ranked and largest portfolios of specialty property marketing websites, the largest real estate marketing services company, an extensive buyer database of more than 700,000 opt-in buyers and exclusive global advertising of properties.
With a heritage dating back to 1925, Roscoe L. Chamberlain founded United Farm Agency and opened the first office in Fayetteville, AR. His unique concept was to provide people in urban and suburban areas with a "roadmap to the country" in order to lure them to desirable properties in rural America. In 1928, the company produced the very first catalog ever used in real estate marketing. Today, the original 1928 edition is housed in the Smithsonian Institute and has remained in continuous publication, with its 75th Anniversary Edition released in 2003. United Farm Agency was sold in 1984 and renamed United National Real Estate. In 1990, First Horizon Corporation was formed to purchase the assets of United National and in 1997 it was renamed United Country Real Estate.
