Chuck E. Cheese’s Continues Support of Schools, Non-Profits and Communities with Fundraising Programs, Events

More Than $10 Million has Been Given to Schools and Organizations through Chuck E. Cheese’s Fundraising Events

DALLAS - (BUSINESS WIRE - Aug. 15, 2013 - Chuck E. Cheese’s is the perfect place to host your next fundraising event. With more than $10 million given back to schools and non-profit children’s organizations through Chuck E. Cheese’s fundraising events, the company provides a great way to give back to kids in the community. Most non-profit, private or public pre-school, elementary or middle school, religious group or other non-profit organization benefiting children under the age of 12 can reserve a fundraising event and have fun at Chuck E. Cheese’s with friends and family knowing they are giving back to a good cause.

“We chose to revamp and update our fundraising program to really make it more hands-on and easier than ever for schools and non-profits to turn fun into funds for their organization’s cause,” said Randy Forsythe, executive vice president at Chuck E. Cheese’s. “In addition to the millions of families we serve in our stores, we look forward to expanding our involvement in our local communities.”

Hosting a fundraising event at Chuck E. Cheese’s is easy, profitable and fun. The program doesn’t involve selling items to friends and family, and best of all, it doesn’t require any extra work. Parents and teachers, as well as authorized personnel from a children’s organization, can call Chuck E. Cheese’s at 1-888-CEC-4FUN or go online to set up their event. Once completed, fundraising organizers will digitally receive: English and Spanish flyers they can reproduce and distribute to their organization, Chuck E. Cheese's graphic templates to create custom materials to promote the event and online invitations powered by Evite. Chuck E. himself might even visit schools on the day of the event to help generate excitement.

On the night of the fundraiser, 15 percent of all register sales generated by your organization during the event – including food, drinks, tokens and merchandise – are donated back to the school or organization. There is no cost involved and no requirement for teachers, administrators or parents to work during the event. As a token of appreciation for their support and attendance, educators are offered a free meal and trip into the Ticket Blaster® with valid ID.

Chuck E. Cheese’s has always taken an active role in supporting education and charitable organizations within the community. In recent months, Chuck E. Cheese’s has focused on promoting their school fundraising program in the United States. The brand recently sponsored 10 national PTO conventions and met with more than 6,000 school fundraising coordinators across the nation. In addition to fundraising events, Chuck E. Cheese’s offers Token for Grades, an academic-achievement program that rewards good grades with free tokens to use during Chuck E. Cheese’s visits.
