Arby’s® Selects Powerhouse Dynamics Emonitor™ for Energy Savings, Food Safety across the U.S.

Roll-out Will Initially Cover 860+ Corporate-Owned Stores

BOSTON - September 17, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Powerhouse Dynamics (PhD), creator of the award-winning eMonitorTM energy, water, and asset management platform, announced that Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. is installing eMonitor systems in all 860+ corporate-owned stores across the country. The rollout is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2013.

It also remotely monitors equipment to diagnose performance issues and identify savings opportunities. More importantly, while the information is being gathered at each company-owned store, the eMonitor makes it simple to benchmark energy and water usage across all facilities regionally and nationally. This allows multi-location companies to identify star performers and share best practices, optimizing performance across the chain.

Arby’s is also taking advantage of the eMonitor’s “Food Safety Scorecard,” a key feature that continuously monitors temperature in relevant refrigeration (and potentially) heated holding equipment. The Scorecard supports a critical chain-wide requirement to monitor product temperatures, in order to identify issues before they become food safety emergencies.
