HoneyBaked teams up with the National Breast Cancer Foundation

Raising awareness and funds throughout October.

ATLANTA - Oct. 3, 2013 // PRNewswire // - With the goal of bringing greater education and focus to a disease that impacts millions of Americans every day, HoneyBaked, the premium food retailer, is partnering with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) this October with a fully-integrated campaign effort.

"Through their donation, we are able to offer free mammograms to those in need and spread a message of hope to women across the country."

HoneyBaked replaces its iconic gold foil with pink for the first time ever this October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and one dollar from each limited edition pink foil-wrapped ham sold at participating locations across the country benefits the NBCF. Customers can also help "foil" breast cancer by adding a donation of one dollar or more to their purchase during the month of October.

In addition, customers who wear pink and bring a friend for lunch on every Friday in October receive buy one, get one free sandwiches at participating HoneyBaked stores nationwide. Fans of HoneyBaked's Facebook page also have the opportunity to nominate friends and loved ones who have been touched by breast cancer to receive a free family meal from HoneyBaked. One hundred families will be selected throughout the month of October.
