Pulled Pork Returns at Roy Rogers® Restaurant

QSR Brings Back a Summertime Fan Favorite

June 05, 2014 // Franchising.com // Frederick, MD - Roy Rogers is pleased to announce the return of a classic summer favorite for pork lovers and barbeque fans alike, the slow-roasted Pulled Pork Sandwich. Roys' all-natural pork shoulder is dry-rubbed and slow roasted for 11 hours in our restaurants to seal in tenderness and flavor. After being hand-pulled, the succulent pork shoulder is then placed atop a dollop of Roys' creamy, homemade cole slaw and nestled between a warm Kaiser bun. To embody the full taste of summer, this new limited time offer is available as a combo meal with a choice of a side item, such as baked beans or French fries, and featuring everyone's favorite warm-weather refreshment, iced-cold Gold Peak Sweet Tea. Guests have the option to top their sandwich with a choice of Sweet Baby Ray's or Roy Rogers' original Carolina tangy barbeque sauce.

"The Pulled Pork Sandwich has been a classic summer favorite at our restaurants for a few years," says Carrie Isabell, Director of Marketing at Roy Rogers Restaurants. "However, this summer, Roys offers customers the added benefit of saucing Pulled Pork sandwiches to their liking at our Fixin's Bar. Customers always enjoy making sandwiches their own at Roys, and will be able to do the same with our Pulled Pork."

The Pulled Pork Sandwich will be available for a limited time at participating restaurants now through the end of July.
