Right at Home Eyes Germany as Next Country to Bring Senior In-Home Care
OMAHA - May 29, 2014 - Right at Home, a leading in-home care franchise, at the forefront of the in-home care industry is looking to strengthen its international presence by finding a Master Franchisee to develop the brand in Germany.
As of 2013, 21 percent of the German population was already over 65 years old, and this demographic is projected to grow to 25%, or nearly 20 million by 2025 according to the OECD. Therefore, Right at Home is fervently searching for a strategic partner to develop the brand across Germany to aid the country's large aging population with healthcare solutions.
With outstanding 2013 growth statistics, and now the launch of offices in Japan and Australia, Right at Home is positioned for continued success as it looks forward to offering its services to more seniors and disabled adults in key markets in Europe, with Germany as a high priority.
Right at Home's International Executive Advisor, Robert Shaw, will be in Cologne on June 6, 2014 and June 7, 2014 to meet with parties interested in becoming a strategic partner with the company. Shaw will be presenting to German investors at the World Franchise Forum & Exhibition at the Hotel Marriott in Cologne on June 7, 2014.
"As an international leader in homecare for the elderly and disabled, our analysis concludes a growing opportunity ahead for privately paid home care services. The German healthcare system can provide certain basic services,” said Founder and Executive Chairman Allen Hager. “However, there is a strong growth ahead for families purchasing homecare customized to their own preferences for their loved ones."
Right at Home has continuously expanded its global reach since its founding in 1995. The company's current portfolio includes a total of eight countries with the opening of offices in Brisbane, Australia, in April, and in Tokyo, Japan, in July.
"Germany is a very high priority for our company and we look forward to meeting highly qualified and socially motivated business development professionals wishing to capitalize on this extraordinary business opportunity,” said President and CEO Brian Petranick. “The German market's needs and size offer a highly scalable business opportunity for our brand and our strategic partner as Master Franchisee."
By 2050, there will be an estimated 2 billion people over the age of 65 worldwide. At present, Right at Home is providing in-home care to seniors and disabled adults in eight countries on five continents. Right at Home is committed to improving the lives of those they serve and plans to substantially expand their international presence by the end of 2015, hoping to bring this needed service to many more communities across Germany.
