Brothers in Law & Business: Texas Family Opens 2nd MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes in Ft. Worth

Texas Brothers-in-Law Invest in Second MOOYAH after Three Years of Success with Growing Brand

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) September 09, 2014 - Two Texas entrepreneurs are keeping it in the family as they open the doors and fire up the grills of their second MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes (MOOYAH) location in Fort Worth. In order to continue satisfying the cravings for the Dallas-based "better burger" brand’s mouthwatering, build-your-own burgers, local owners, Bailey McGuire and his brother-in-law Frank Sciuto, are proud to announce the opening of a new restaurant in the Alliance area of Fort Worth on September 8. The new restaurant is located at 9604 Old Denton Road, Suite 108.

Besides being brothers-in-law, McGuire and Sciuto have built a successful business partnership with the MOOYAH brand. This is the second MOOYAH location for the burger enthusiasts, who have a goal of opening 3-4 more locations in the future. They have already hired 30 employees for the new location and are connecting with local charities, organizations, and schools in the Alliance area in their quest to be a positive force in the community.

"After experiencing success and seeing the popularity of our first MOOYAH location, we’re thrilled to be opening our second restaurant and providing the community of Ft. Worth with top-quality ingredients in a fun and family-friendly atmosphere," said McGuire. "Frank and I believe in the brand wholeheartedly and it’s with this passion we look forward to welcoming our Guests and giving them the full customizable MOOYAH experience with every visit."

The brothers-in-law have been able to marry their diverse backgrounds to create an effective dynamic for success. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, McGuire then worked in sports marketing. McGuire first learned about the MOOYAH brand from his brother-in-law, Sciuto, who worked as a franchise development manager at the time and had met MOOYAH Co-founder and CEO Rich Hicks as well as MOOYAH Vice President of Operations and Franchise Development Michael Mabry. The brothers-in-law had often talked about the idea of partnering and investing in a restaurant brand they could grow with, and after becoming familiar with MOOYAH’s quality product and long-term vision, they decided to make their dream a reality, opening their first location in Burleson, Texas in 2011.

"We are so happy that the stars aligned and we made the leap to invest in the MOOYAH brand," said Sciuto. "The last three years in Burleson have been an incredible ride, and we’re excited to bring the same experience to Alliance where we plan to grow and invest in the community."

McGuire runs the day-to-day operations of the restaurant while Sciuto handles the finance and development side of the business. The family-run operation has earned them accolades, including MOOYAH’s Rookie of the Year in 2012, as well as being named Top Movers and Shakers Under 30 by QSR Magazine.

At MOOYAH, Guests start their made-to-order burger experience by choosing from freshly-baked white or whole wheat buns, or a low-carb, bun replacement of iceberg lettuce leaves. Next, Guests have the option of never-frozen 100 percent American beef, Jennie-O® turkey or the mouthwatering black bean veggie patty, all decorated with unlimited veggies, a choice of 11 delectable sauces, five different cheeses, and other savory toppings such as Applewood bacon and fresh avocado.

In addition, the sides and dessert are not to be forgotten. MOOYAH French fries are not an afterthought, but a crucial component of the whole MOOYAH experience. The daily-cut spuds are always cooked fresh, and transformed into the perfect French fries through a proprietary six-step, 24-hour process. Guests also have the option of the ever-popular Sweet Potato Fries. To offset the savory side of the menu, MOOYAH offers handcrafted shakes made with 100 percent real ice cream. Like their burgers, MOOYAH shakes can be customized with fun ice cream flavors and sweet toppings such as M&M’s®, cookie dough and Reese’s® PB cups.

"MOOYAH is a Texas-based brand and it’s through our commitment to quality that we’ve been able to grow so rapidly in the state where demand for our product remains high," said Michael Mabry, Vice President of Operations and Franchise Development for MOOYAH. "By partnering with driven and passionate franchisees like Bailey and Frank, we’ll continue growing into key development markets and providing our Guests with an outstanding dining experience every time."

MOOYAH has plans to continue its sustained expansion, and predicts the brand will add over 1,000 jobs to local communities through its restaurant openings in 2014. The burger franchise shows no signs of slowing down and aims to deliver a simple American classic that’s not only made well, but produced in a friendly and comfortable environment to new and fresh markets in the future.
