Black Bear Diner Announces Sponsorship of Loyal Customer and Professional Rodeo Star Lori Lewis

Black Bear Diner sponsors loyal customer and professional rodeo star for her 2015 rodeo circuit tour.

Redding, California (PRWEB) July 07, 2015 - Black Bear Diner, an award-winning family dining concept offering bear-sized portions of comfort food classics in a bear-themed restaurant, announced today the sponsorship of professional rodeo rider and loyal customer, Lori Lewis, for her 2015 rodeo circuit tour.

“Lori has been a loyal Black Bear Diner customer for several years at our Goodyear location and this was a very special way to honor her loyalty,” said David Doty, chief marketing officer for Black Bear Diner. “She also has an incredible, feel-good story that just resonated with us from a brand perspective. We feel so honored to support her.”

Lewis, a member of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association, is a lifelong horse trainer and amateur champion. At the age of 50, Lewis decided she wanted to turn pro. In 2012, Lewis and her horse, Kryptonite, were named the Arizona Turquoise Circuit “Rookies of the Year.” In 2013, after losing her eyesight in one eye, Lori continued to ride despite warnings to hang up the saddle.

“I’m so honored to be a part of the Black Bear Diner family,” said Lewis. “I’ve always loved the hospitality I receive from their local diner in Goodyear. Now I’m receiving that hospitality from the entire brand. I’m just so thankful they’re helping me do something I absolutely love.”

Lewis is on the rodeo circuit throughout the summer of 2015. Her tour schedule can be seen on the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association website or you can stay in touch with Lewis on her Facebook fan page.
