Scooter’s Coffee Expands Reach in Nebraska

National Coffee Franchise Opens Second Location in Norfolk

March 08, 2017 // Franchising.com // Norfolk, NE - Scooter’s Coffee, the Midwest-based coffee franchise that has experienced tremendous growth over the past year, will increase its Nebraska presence with the company’s latest Grand Opening in Norfolk, NE (902 W Benjamin Ave.) on Thursday, March 9. To celebrate the opening, customers will receive several fun giveaways throughout the day. Beginning at 10 a.m., the first 100 customers will receive a $5 gift card with purchase. Later in the afternoon, starting at 1 p.m., the first 50 customers will receive a free coffee mug with purchase, and at 4 p.m., the first 50 customers will receive a free t-shirt with purchase.

“Our Norfolk location has always been one of the strongest in the system,” stated Rob Streett, President and Chief Operating Officer of Scooter’s Coffee. “The town is already welcoming this second location with open arms, and we are looking forward to growing the brand here.”

To continue the celebration of this new store opening, the location will also be treating customers to Free Food weeks each Monday and Wednesday in April, where customers can enjoy a complimentary food item with the purchase of any drink (while supplies last).

Mike and Cindy Reynoldson will own this location. The Reynoldons also own the 13th Street location in Norfolk and a third store in Yankton, South Dakota. “The community was ready for this expansion,” said the Reynoldsons. “The culture of the Scooter’s Coffee brand and the Norfolk community are so similar and complimentary.”

Scooter’s Coffee is quickly approaching 200 locations in 15 states. It opened 33 new locations in 2016 and plans similar expansion in 2017. The company is in the midst of a robust grand opening pipeline. It recently opened its first location in Phoenix, Arizona, added a second location to the Atlanta, Georgia, metro area and also opened its second of many locations in the state of Florida. Other expanding markets include Iowa, Kansas, Texas and Missouri.
