April 19, 2017 // Franchising.com // Milford, CT - Subway® restaurants has announced that Karlin Linhardt has joined the Subway® team as Senior Vice President for Marketing, North America, responsible for brand management and guest experience for more than 30,000 Subway® restaurants in North America, serving almost 1.5 billion guests per year.
Mr. Linhardt will oversee all North America marketing teams and core disciplines, including Advertising, Media Planning & Execution, Menu Innovation & Development, Research & Analytics, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Tactical Events & Sponsorships.
Mr. Linhardt most recently served as a senior consultant for Accenture, managing the Brand Transformation initiative for Subway in conjunction with Accenture’s design and construction of the Subway Digital platform.
He also brings extensive brand-side restaurant industry experience, including 10 years each at McDonald’s (where he led the turnaround of the $5 billion U.S. Happy Meal/Family segment) and Anheuser-Busch. Since 2011, Mr. Linhardt has also served on the Board of Directors for Perkins & Marie Callender’s Restaurants.
