Scooter’s Coffee Adds First Drive-Thru Location to Springfield, MO

New Store to Celebrate Grand Opening on October 13th with $1 Off Drinks

October 04, 2017 // Franchising.com // Springfield, MO - Scooter’s Coffee, the Midwest-based coffee franchise that has experienced tremendous growth over the past year, has increased its Missouri presence with the company’s latest opening at 2930 S. Campbell Ave. To celebrate, the location will be hosting a Grand Opening on Friday, October 13th, where all drinks will be $1 off (excluding Red Bull drinks).

“Springfield was an obvious choice for us as we continue to expand throughout Missouri,” stated Rob Streett, President and Chief Operating Officer of Scooter’s Coffee. “We have already experienced incredible enthusiasm from the community, and we cannot wait for them to experience our world-class products.”

On Grand Opening Day, customers can also expect to receive several fun giveaways. Beginning at 10 a.m., the first 100 customers will receive a free $5 gift card with purchase. Later in the afternoon, starting at 1 p.m., the first 50 customers will receive a free mug with purchase, and at 4 p.m., the first 50 customers will receive a free Scooter’s t-shirt with purchase.

Mary Rolf will own and operate this location. “We fell in love with our Scooter's family from our first interaction with them,” said Rolf. “We knew becoming part of the Scooters franchise family would provide us with the perfect balance of support while allowing for us to have a voice in the franchise. Plus, who can resist a putting a smile on a customer's face by making them their favorite coffee beverage.”

Following the location’s Grand Opening, it will have a half off discount available on the Scooter’s Coffee mobile app October 14 – 20 only. The app allows customers to quickly pay for purchases by scanning a barcode linked to a registered Scooter’s Coffee gift card.

The app also includes a loyalty program and other features. Acting as a digital punch card, customers earn Smiley Faces when they use the app for purchases, then can redeem their Smiley Faces for a free drink after collecting 12. In addition, the app will enable customers to access special offers, view the nearest locations, browse the full Scooter’s Coffee menu and track purchases.

Scooter’s Coffee is quickly approaching 200 locations in 15 states, and has 144 franchisee commitments to build new stores. The company is in the midst of a robust grand opening pipeline. It recently opened additional locations in San Antonio, Texas and Sacramento, California. Other expanding markets include Nevada, Arkansas, Colorado and Texas.
