Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Linden Location

March 26, 2018 // Franchising.com // LINDEN, N.J. - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Linden on March 21. Franchise owners Greg Gillmann and his father Glenn Gillmann, along with their manager Ryan Jennings, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 21 to Sunday, March 25 to support Linden Public Schools.

The new restaurant, located at 683 West Edgar Road, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Linden Public Schools.

“As a kid growing up at the Jersey Shore, I always liked going with my mom to pick up subs from Jersey Mike’s to bring home for the family,” said Greg Gillmann. “It went without saying that they were the best subs in town, but what really stood out to me was the experience of walking in those doors. It was like the crew was putting on a show while making your sandwich. The employees knew everyone’s name and order, and we knew that we’d be bringing home a great sub every time. Jersey Mike’s is a big part of my family and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this franchise.”

Greg added, “After working for a Jersey Mike’s location in Brick, N.J., for a year and half, I knew I wanted to pursue owning my own shop. I’m very excited to be opening our second location in Linden. For this grand opening, we will be helping support Linden Public Schools during our grand opening. Everyone here has been so welcoming to us and we are excited to build and grow alongside such a great community.
