Office Evolution’s Bryce Hill Earns GWA Community Manager Award

‘Rock Star’ Downtown Denver Business Center Manager takes home inaugural honor

October 28, 2019 // Franchising.com // DENVER, Colo. - Lauded by his colleagues for his unparalleled commitment, and now formally recognized by his peers for his enduring performance, Bryce Hill, Business Center Manager at the downtown Denver Office Evolution location, recently received the Community Manager Award from the Global Workspace Association.

This year marks the first time the Community Manager Award was handed out at the Global Workspace Association’s Conference. The award celebrates individuals who provide invaluable and unparalleled support for their coworking community. Community managers must be nominated by coworkers and are evaluated based on their work ethic and how they encourage collaboration within their respective teams.

“It’s an honor being the first recipient of The Global Workspace Association’s Community Manager Award,” said Hill. “I’ve received a few sales-based and customer service recognition honors in the past, but this feels like a nice marrying of the two. I’m humbled by the recognition, and I’m inspired to build on this experience.”

Hill came to Office Evolution in 2018 after working as an Area Training Manager between Wyoming and Colorado. During his time in this position, Hill learned about Office Evolution and immediately knew he was the right fit.

“I have been in the industry over a decade and I know that Bryce is a rock star,” Office Evolution COO and Global Workspace Association Board Member William Edmundson said. “His positive attitude and Office Evolution Ohana (Hawaiian for Family) spirit transforms centers. Given Bryce’s dedication to maintaining a supportive coworking community, he is extremely deserving of the Community Manager Award and we look forward to continuing to work alongside him.”

Hill, who has already become a member favorite in his brief time with the company, says he enjoys leading daily walks that more and more Office Evolution members are joining, and he appreciates the support he has received.

“The more I read about Office Evolution the more certain I was that I wanted to join the team,” he added. “I like that Office Evolution caters to small businesses, and that the franchise locations are locally owned in communities around the U.S. It’s a big network of locations all interconnected through the main headquarters in Colorado, but with real roots in the communities we serve.”

With 64 locations open and nearly 80 in various stages of development, Office Evolution is the largest coworking franchise and the fourth largest network in the U.S. The model is based on local owners who are committed to serving their community, backed by the resources and distribution of a national brand and network unique to the category. Made up of more than 24 million non-employer businesses in the U.S. and more than 3.5 million U.S. businesses with four employees or less, demand for shared office space is high.
