Kitchen Tune-Up Ranked On Entrepreneur Magazine’s 41th Annual Franchise 500® List

February 13, 2020 // Franchising.com // ABERDEEN, S.D. - Kitchen Tune-Up announced today that it has been named to Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500® list, considered the world’s first, best and most comprehensive franchise ranking. Ranked #316 overall, this was a significant jump from the previous year, where they were ranked #393.

“We are very proud to be again be ranked on the Franchise 500,” said Heidi Morrissey, President of Kitchen Tune-Up. "The significant improvement of our ranking on the list is evidence of the dedication of our franchise family and their team members; without them, none of this would be possible.”

The key factors that go into Entrepreneur’s evaluation include costs and fees, size and growth, support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability. All franchises are given a cumulative score based on more than 150 data points, and the 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores become the Franchise 500® in ranking order.

“The 500 companies on this list all have something in common: They understand what consumers want now,” says Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur. “They may be an upstart in a brand-new category, or they may be a brand like Dunkin’ that’s ranked highly on our list for decades. But either way, making our list means they’re forward-thinking, nimble, and closely in touch with their customers’ needs - because in an ever-changing business environment, that’s what a franchise must do to thrive.”

Kitchen Tune-Up is known for its five options to update kitchens and cabinetry. Services include its signature one-day Tune-Up, cabinet painting, cabinet refacing, cabinet redooring, and new cabinets.

Entrepreneurially spirited individuals interested in owning a Kitchen Tune-Up franchise should have the ability to invest between $71,900-$105,150, which includes working capital and a typical franchise fee of $49,000. Ideal franchise candidates enjoy managing people and tasks, with a desire to make a difference in homes in their community.

Over its 41 years in existence, the Franchise 500® has become both a dominant competitive measure for franchisors and a primary research tool for potential franchisees. Kitchen Tune-Up’s position on the ranking is a testament to its strength as a franchise opportunity.
