Scooter’s Coffee Continues Growing in Texas
National Franchise Signs Agreement for a New Unit in Carrollton
June 12, 2020 // Franchising.com // OMAHA, Neb. - Scooter’s Coffee, LLC, the Midwest-based drive-thru coffee franchise that is on track for another record-breaking year of growth, is expanding its presence in Texas by bringing its world-class drive-thru coffee locations to Carrollton.
Scooter’s Coffee, based in Omaha, Nebraska, specializes in artisan espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, baked-from-scratch pastries and features its signature drink, the Caramelicious®. The company added depth to its profile last year with a new line of organic hot and iced teas, single-origin coffee and Cold Brew & Cream.
Americans love their coffee. The percentage of people in the U.S. who drink coffee daily is up to 64 percent in 2018, the highest since 2012. The use of drive-thru’s for coffee has slightly increased over the past five years. In 2019, 46 percent of people said they had purchased coffee using a drive-thru the day before. Scooter’s Coffee, with the Brand Promise of “Amazing People, Amazing Drinks… Amazingly Fast!®” is helping Americans meet that demand.
Scooter’s Coffee is extremely excited about expanding to new areas by adding a location in Carrollton, north of Dallas. Matt Robinson signed an agreement with Scooter’s Coffee for the single unit.
Robinson was born in Omaha and always loved Scooter’s Coffee. He moved to Dallas about two years ago and began missing the delicious treat. Robinson always had a passion for customer service and decided to open his very own Scooter’s Coffee.
“People need service they can depend on while commuting,” said Matt Robinson. “Scooter’s Coffee is known for their customer service and I want to bring the brand’s core values to Carrollton.”
In line with its successful and robust grand opening strategy, Scooter’s Coffee recently opened five locations throughout Kansas and Missouri, opened the second location in the state of Arkansas, and is opening additional locations in markets such as Denver, Colorado. The company is quickly surpassing 250 locations in 14 states and has over 200 franchise commitments to build new stores.
“Matt Robinson was a part of our first virtual Be Amazing Day that took place due to the Coronavirus,” Tim Arpin, Scooter’s Coffee Vice President of Franchise Sales. “We knew right away he shared our passion for the brand, and we are very excited to welcome Matt to the Scooter’s family.”
