Burch built his career in the semiconductor industry – the business that makes it possible to miniaturize electronics to make things like computer chips. The industry, which grew quickly with the rapidly-changing technology, was extremely high stakes – Burch managed and led teams of more than 500 people around the world, creating finance structure, engineering services, problem solving capabilities, sales and operations.

“Working in that kind of business taught me that, every time you roll out a new project, you have to coach people and companies in order to get that project online as efficiently as possible. You need to be able to step back, see the big picture and put all the puzzle pieces into place. When I left the corporate world and opened a company designed to help businesses get funding and working capital, I thought I was out of the coaching business, but it turned out many of my clients needed help getting their business basics in order” Burch said. “As I was thinking about ways to help my clients be more successful, I found The Growth Coach.
