Sport Clips Haircuts Adds Chief Marketing Officer Martin Lee To Leadership Team

August 19, 2020 // Franchising.com // GEORGETOWN, Texas - Sport Clips Haircuts, the nation’s leading men’s and boys’ hair care provider, has added marketing veteran Martin S. Lee to its support team as chief marketing officer. Lee has more than 15 years of experience with several of the nation’s best-known brands including SIRIUS XM Radio, Sears Holdings, Sleepy’s and Shopko.

“Sport Clips continues to expand throughout the U.S. and Canada, and Martin’s experience with recognized brands will support our work in growing market share while building upon the high-level marketing we offer locally-owned franchises," says president and CEO Edward Logan. “Martin brings his insight and understanding of growing large businesses to support the strategic ways we plan to move the brand forward. We are focused on getting the message out about the differentiators that make Sport Clips the hair care choice for men and boys, as well as a top investment for franchisees and career opportunity for stylists.”

Lee is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. He and his wife, Amy, have two sons. Lee has been on the advisory boards of The Perfect Game Foundation, College Scholar Foundation, and Barrington Youth Baseball. After relocating from Chicago, Lee and his family now call Texas home.

Sport Clips is the first haircare franchise to have a presence in all 50 U.S. states. After locations experienced temporary shutdowns as a result of the pandemic, the franchise developed the Sport Clips Clean Certified program to offer the safest environment possible for stylists and clients when stores began to reopen and offer check-ins online and via the updated Sport Clips app. Sport Clips is among Glassdoor.com's "Best Places to Work" and Comparably's "Best Company Culture."
