Office Evolution Announces New CFO as Demand for Workspace Close to Home Skyrockets

Mike Brower promoted to CFO as Office Evolution doubles down on its commitment to growth

September 02, 2020 // Franchising.com // LOUISVILLE, Colo. - Office Evolution, the nation’s largest and fastest-growing coworking franchisor, is welcoming a new CFO to the team as the national demand for flexible workspaces that are close to home is at an all-time high. Mike Brower, Office Evolution’s former Senior Vice President of Finance, has been promoted to CFO to continue to strengthen the brand’s leadership team during this crucial time for the industry.

“This is such an exciting time for Office Evolution and I am proud to help propel this brand even further,” said Brower. “This year has been transformational for Office Evolution. Amid unprecedented challenges, we remained committed to our strategy of offering flexible workspaces that are close to home, which has resulted in an expanded portfolio. I am looking forward to helping continue to drive our strong performance.”

Brower has overseen all aspects of the Finance, Accounting and Human Resource functions of Office Evolution since 2017. His 36 years of experience includes serving as the Controller for Taco John’s International, where the franchise grew to over 500 locations across the United States and Canada during his tenure. Brower also has experience during past tenures with multiple mergers and acquisitions transactions ranging from $25M to $95M in size.

Brower’s addition to Office Evolution’s executive team comes just months after the brand hired Andrea Pirrotti-Dranchak as Chief Marketing and Development Officer to help bolster the brand’s growth and marketing efforts. With the addition of Brower, Office Evolution’s leadership team continues to strengthen during an important time for the flexible workspace industry, but specifically for Office Evolution, which boasts a unique strategy offering workspace close to home. As the pandemic continues to push professionals and businesses out of large cities, Office Evolution provides an inspiring, safe haven with a great culture, for small businesses and remote workers.

In addition to the demand for safe, flexible, and affordable suburban workspace, Office Evolution has continued to see an increase in demand for its franchising opportunity. Since the start of 2020, Office Evolution has opened a total of nine new flexible workspace locations across the country and awarded 10 new development deals, indicating demand from business professionals seeking to take control of their financial future with a semi-absentee business model that yields 93% recurring revenue.

“Mike has been an important part of our team for the last three years, and his combination of experience and leadership made him the obvious choice for the role. We are excited to watch him to continue to grow and push our brand even further,” stated Office Evolution CEO and Founder Mark Hemmeter. “Throughout the pandemic, our network has continued to grow and serve a larger number of suburban-dwelling workers and small business owners. As this population of professionals is expected to grow, key players like Mike are going to help take our franchise to new levels.”
