Iconic Neighborhood Pizzeria Offers Traditional Pizza Factory and Pizza Factory Express

Now, amid a thriving pizza industry landscape, the fast-casual concept is adapting its hometown model to meet consumer’s growing demand for fresh, speedy and convenient options.

Pizza Factory announced today an aggressive franchising initiative for aspiring entrepreneurs that includes incentive programs for conversion opportunities and a new franchise model – Pizza Factory Express, which focuses on carryout and delivery.

“This year the restaurant industry has been flipped upside down, but pizza has proved to be resilient once again,” said Pizza Factory CEO Mary Jane Riva. “Taking into account real estate availability, consumer demand for curbside and delivery, and a pool of talented workers - there’s a unique opportunity to grow Pizza Factory in markets nationwide. Pizza Factory’s ability to provide comfort and adapt during challenging times is why the brand is still standing strong. Since March 2020, some locations have seen a 50 percent increase in sales, largely due to a push toward takeout, delivery and curbside.

Unlike other quick-service pizzerias, everything on Pizza Factory’s menu is prepared fresh with ingredients, such as hand-grated 100 percent mozzarella cheese, slow-cooked meat sauce and meatballs that are hand rolled in-house. As a differentiator, the concept also offers a wider menu variety than most with hot and cold sandwiches, pastas, chicken wings and more.
