Walker Hayes and IHG® Hotels & Resorts Bring “Holiday Inn® to You” with Drive-In Concert Series
RIAA Double Platinum® country music star to perform socially distant shows at four Holiday Inn properties across the Southeast and Midwest
September 23, 2020 // Franchising.com // IHG® Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, and its iconic Holiday Inn® brand have partnered with country music artist Walker Hayes to bring live music to several Holiday Inn hotels in the form of drive-in, socially distant performances. The “Holiday Inn to You” tour, a nod to a line in Hayes’ latest hit single “Trash My Heart,” kicks off Saturday, September 26 and continues through the end of October.
Walker Hayes, singer-songwriter with Monument Records, said: “We’re excited to partner with the Holiday Inn brand to bring drive-in shows to fans and music lovers, who have all sorely missed live music this year, in a safe way. I grew up staying at Holiday Inn hotels as a kid, so mentioning them in song was a way for me to celebrate all the great memories I made with my family. I’m looking forward to helping attendees make new memories at Holiday Inn hotels with their friends and family during the tour.”
Music is a huge part of the Holiday Inn brand’s DNA, from its very name to the iconic artists and bands that have walked through the doors. The brand has been featured in some of the greatest songs and pop culture moments over the past several decades. In fact, more than 50 songs mention “Holiday Inn,” and several hits have originated as scribbled lyrics on the hotel’s stationery. Earlier this summer, Hayes performed a surprise set at the Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt hotel during its famous weekly Songwriters’ Night at the legendary Commodore Grille.
The “Holiday Inn to You” tour is a continuation of the "We’re there" global marketing campaign that celebrates authentic moments of human connection. The shows provide attendees with a safe, responsible way to come together in person for an unforgettable experience.

Each exclusive show is open only to fans who win free tickets through radio and online giveaways in each market.
